Welcome to Shawangunk Fish & Game Association, New York’s Premier outdoor facility for all things firearms, fishing, hunting, competition, events, and more! With multiple fresh water fishing options and a stocked pond, fishing access is a breeze. On the firearm side, we offer multiple firearm ranges suitable for all disciplines including pistol, rifle, and shotgun. And if that wasn’t enough, we host the best firearm and fishing competitions and training the northeast has to offer!

We are introducing a late summer league for five weeks from 8/18/23 thru 9/15/23, with an enrollment fee of $30 and many prizes. The league will shoot Friday nights and will consist of two rounds of 16 yards and one round of 23 yards. Signup sheets will be available at the trap lodge. Please sign up from 8/2-16/23.

And…with multiple ranges available and gatherings 3x a week, we can accomodate all who want to shoot including members and the public!

The trap range is open 3x a week not including special education or competitions listed on our calendar.
Days and evenings opened are:
Sundays from 12pm to 4pm
Wednesdays from 6pm to 9pm
Fridays from 6pm to 9pm

We have coaching available for all levels of trap shooters. All levels of shooters are welcomed. Also, for a limited time, the club is offering a Trap Range Associate Membership for $100 only!

Members pay a discounted rate of $5 per turn while Non-Members/Public will pay $7 per turn.

Of course there is! Our trap shooters enjoy both the shooting and socializing our trap space provides. Our clubhouse offers both a heated and cooled space depending on weather and we are fully stocked with ammunition, cold drinks, and many snacks to provide all the comforts of home while enjoying your favorite sport!

Looking to Hunt?
Shawangunk Fish and Game Club’s membership gives you exclusive access to hundred’s of acres to hunt turkey, pheasant, varmints, deer, bear, and more. Utilizing the legal permits, licenses, and tags, you’ll have experienced hunters to guide you through proper etiquette, tools, and firearms if you are new to the game. For the experienced hunter, our land access is prime hunting land you can enjoy year-round.
Love To Fish?
For the fisherman, we have several types of fresh water fishing available to access many fresh water species in this region including trout, bass, perch, sunfish, and catfish. We take great care in stocking our pond twice a year to keep a healthy population and provide year long fishing at your finger tips! Something most outdoor clubs wouldn’t invest in!
Rent Our Space?
Shawangunk Fish and Game Association has multiple areas on premise to rent by members or the public. This helps offset membership fees and yearly costs of maintaining our club facilities. Outside clubs, police departments, and youth organizations such as Boy Scouts of America® use these facilities for meetings and parties, while others host family reunions, BBQ’s, sponsored firearm and fishing events, and more. We maintain a clubhouse with a full kitchen, covered pavilion with full commercial kitchen and bbq station, picnic table seating, and land galore.
